BOLULLA WATER ROUTE
The Water Route is a leisurely walk that visits some of Bolulla's most iconic spots, showcasing the town's historical relationship with water and nature. It's a short, accessible route, perfect for enjoying a relaxing day outdoors.
Step-by-step tour

The route begins at Town Hall Square, descending toward the river along a dirt road. You'll soon reach a signposted fork indicating the correct route, and from there, simply follow the main path.

The first highlight is the Font dels Xorros, also known as Font de la Renyinyosa. This spring, of great historical significance, offers a peaceful place to sit, rest, and enjoy the murmur of the water. In front of the fountain, a wooden fence provides access to the Bolulla River, ideal for getting close to the water or taking photographs of the surroundings.

The trail continues along narrow walkways and small bridges until it reaches a waterfall with a crystal-clear pool, marked as a dam. It's one of the most picturesque spots on the route, where the water gently cascades, creating a refreshing and serene setting.

The route ends at the old Bolulla mill, now in ruins. This mill commemorates the importance of water in the valley's agricultural economy, as it once powered the machinery used to grind grain. From here, the route returns along the same path to the beginning. It's an easy walk, suitable for families and people of all ages, although it is not adapted for strollers or wheelchairs due to the terrain. The route offers the opportunity to enjoy a natural setting, inviting you to walk and care for the flora and water that make it so special.
