PENYA DEL L'OR FROM LA RENYINYOSA

The route to Penya de l'Or begins in the iconic Renyinyosa area, a natural setting that combines terraced fields, small vegetable gardens, and Mediterranean scrubland. This circular route is designed for hikers of moderate experience, seeking a physically challenging and visually rewarding walk through landscapes typical of the Marina Baixa region.
Step-by-step tour
The trail begins in the Renyinyosa area, near Bolulla, where there is a well-marked dirt and rock path. From here, the route begins a gradual ascent, allowing you to enjoy the first open views of the valley and the Mediterranean vegetation that characterizes the area.


The route combines dirt paths, rocky sections, and terraced areas until reaching the base of Penya de l'Or. As you advance, the gradient becomes more noticeable, offering a more challenging route that requires constant effort and attention to the terrain.

The final climb to Penya de l’Or offers breathtaking panoramic views, stretching from the valley’s villages to the Sierra de Aitana and Marina Baixa, including other landmarks such as Puig Campana and Segaria.


The return journey follows a circular route, returning to Renyinyosa along different trails that allow you to complete the experience with new perspectives of the valley and the mountains. In total, the route is approximately 10 km long and can be completed in 4–5 hours, depending on your pace and the amount of time taken to admire the scenery.
