CAMÍ VELL FROM BOLULLA TO TÀRBENA
A route that smells of mountains and poetry
Step-by-step tour
The Camí Vell from Bolulla to Tàrbena is a route that connects two towns in inland Alicante, showcasing the richness of Mediterranean nature, rural history, and the memories of those who have walked this path for centuries. It's a walk that combines stretches of trail, rural paths, and panoramic views that invite you to breathe deeply and enjoy the scenery.

The path gently ascends, passing through terraced crops and orchards that dot the landscape. As you continue, you can catch your first glimpses of the surrounding mountains.
Along the way, there are cobbled stretches, especially in the area known as "Ses Voltes," where the path winds in a zigzag pattern. This old bridleway, historically used for transporting goods, offers a unique experience for hikers.

The route runs alongside the l'Hort ravine, between cultivated terraces, and you can find fountains, dams, and other hydraulic structures that attest to the importance of water in rural life in the area.

The route culminates in Tàrbena, a village that preserves its traditional architecture and offers spectacular views of the surrounding area. From here, you can return to Bolulla along the same route or continue exploring other trails in the area.
